Iraq – The ways of the cross

Al-Koch in Iraq is the last Christian town in the country. All the others were taken by the Jihadists on the 7th of August 2014. It lies on the front line, just 7 kilometres from the Islamist army. It has become the symbol of Christians’ determination to remain in the country. But although this bastion has held out thanks to these diehards, some 15,000 other of its inhabitants have taken the path of exile.
