Braquo Season 2
BRAQUO is entering its second season. In its writing, direction and, of course, its casting, our ambition – like that of Olivier Marchal – has always been to create a series that is original, unusual and daring. A series like no other in the world of French police drama. The success of Season one has given us renewed faith in the choices we have made.
Today, the stakes are even higher, and we must continue to amaze. Continue to explore, in an even more surprising manner, the possibilities of the police series without any police intrigue per se. In BRAQUO there are no investigations, no crimes to solve, no autopsy reports, nor arrests of suspects. No enigmas to unravel, just four people in search of their identities when their world is suddenly turned on its head.
In this second season, rejected by all, they will suffer opprobrium and disgrace… from being hunters they become the hunted.
Caught in the crossfire of warring gangs, the road to redemption will be long and difficult – they can only rely upon themselves so as not to go under. Yet Caplan, Vachewski, Morlighem and Roxanne’s resilience and humanity continue to amaze us .
