CLOV / First oil

After 4 years of construction between yards in South Korea, Norway and Angola, FPSO CLOV has now reached its final destination on block 17 off the Angolan coast. This giant 305-metre-long barge is a Floating Production Storage & Offloading unit for the processing of hydrocarbons connected up to 34 subsea wells. A platform about to witness a magical moment in the life of all oil projects: “first oil”, the arrival of the first drop of oil on board… a final procedure that lasts three days. All aboard!
